It’s me! Why, who were you expecting?

But seriously, I am Movie Betty aka Kelley Marie.  Welcome to my blog!  I’m formally a research and data analyst and database administrator, but I’m also a huge movie fan (aren’t we all!).  I created this movie blog for new and notable films out of frustration of trying find movies my family will watch together.  Not only is there a plethora of platforms and mediums to watch movies on, they are usually only available for a limited time on each one.  Makes it pretty hard to find a movie.

I have a husband and three sons.  My oldest is in college, the middle is in high school and my youngest is in first grade.  It often falls to me find something for us to watch together (or until the youngest goes to bed) for our movie nights.  It’s hard enough finding something we all can watch, but then I have to find out where the heck it is!  Sites like IMDB are great, but they have a lot going on.

My goal is to give you a simple resource to keep up with new movies in theaters and when hit DVD and Video On Demand.  For the most part, this is a family friendly site.  I use greenband MPAA approved trailers.
